Carmelo Gordian picture

Carmelo Gordian

Board Chairman

Carmelo Gordian is the Chairman of the Group Board. Mr. Gordian has practiced corporate and securities law throughout his 20-year legal career. Known as a leader in the Texas venture capital community, he was formerly the chairman of the San Francisco-based Brobeck Business & Technology Group. Mr. Gordian's primary focus is on life science, software, telecommunications, semiconductor, and energy sector companies. His practice includes advising companies and boards of directors on corporate governance issues, representing issuers and investment banking firms in public offerings and private financings (including PIPE, 144A and venture capital financings) and representing acquirors and targets in a broad variety of domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and other business combination transactions. In addition to Mr. Gordian's company practice, he has an active practice representing general partners (GP) and limited partners (LP) of hedge, private equity, venture capital and real estate funds.

Group Chief Executive Officer

Kieran O'Connor is the Chief Executive Officer of FreightWatch Group and the Managing Director of the Group Board. From 2003, Mr. O'Connor served as General Manager and COO for all regions in FreightWatch Group. Prior to joining FreightWatch in 2000, Mr. O'Connor served the United Nations for eight years as a Senior Administrative Officer in Lebanon, Switzerland, New York, and Jamaica. In his last assignment, Mr. O'Connor established a new United Nations Agency in Jamaica.

Mr. O'Connor is a former officer with the Irish Defense Forces. He graduated with honors from University of Limerick in Ireland where he also holds a graduate degree in business studies. He is a member of the National Cargo Security Council (NCSC), the Security Institute of Ireland, and the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).

Mick Moloney picture

Regional General Manager, FreightWatch Europe

Mick Moloney is the Regional General Manager for FreightWatch Europe and a member of the Group Board of Directors. Based in Dublin, Ireland, Mr. Moloney oversees all operations in Ireland, United Kingdom, and Western Europe.

Prior to accepting the position of Regional General Manager for FreightWatch Europe in October 2004, he was the Regional Operations Manager for all European operations. Before joining FreightWatch in 1998, Mr. Moloney served as a Senior Instructor in the Supply and Transport Training Wing of the Irish Defense Forces where he taught all aspects of transport and driver training. During his tenure with the Irish Defense Forces, Mr. Moloney spent four years in the Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Army Ranger Wing. In 1995, Mr. Moloney was awarded a certificate of professional competency for Road Transport Management (both nationally and internationally). Mr. Moloney graduated with distinction from the Security Institute of Ireland.

Barry Conlon picture

President, FreightWatch USA

Barry Conlon is the President of FreightWatch USA. Previously, Mr. Conlon was FreightWatch USA's Director of Business Development. Mr. Conlon also served as a Global Account Manager responsible for managing the Groups largest multinational account.

A former member of the Irish Defense Forces, Special Operations Force, Army Ranger Wing, Mr. Conlon gained unique security operations experience in all aspects of Special Forces Operations during his eleven-year tenure. Mr. Conlon trained extensively with anti-terrorist units abroad, and has also worked with the United Nations in the Middle East and Africa where he received a commendation for his work as a liaison officer with the United Nationals Force Command based in Somalia. He graduated with distinction from the Security Institute of Ireland and the International Professional Security Association (IPSA).

Stefano Spataro

Regional General Manager, FreightWatch Latin America

Stefano Spataro is the Regional General Manager for FreightWatch Latin America and a member of the Group Board of Directors. Based in Mexico City, Mr. Spataro oversees operations for FreightWatch's three regional offices in Mexico.

Previously, Mr. Spataro was Partner, President and General Manager of Wackenhut Group Mexico and five of its subsidiaries. During his tenure, Wackenhut became the largest provider of security services for Mexico's principal airports, winning corporate contracts with leading U.S. airlines—including Continental, American, Delta, United, and US Airways. Under Mr. Spataro's leadership, Wackenhut became a preferred security services provider for the corporate offices and plants of pharmaceutical, chemical and communications companies throughout Mexico.

Brad Robinson picture

Brad Robinson

Managing Director, FreightWatch Asia Pacific

Brad Robinson is the Managing Director for FreightWatch Asia Pacific. Based in Penang, Malaysia. Mr. Robinson oversees all Asia Pacific operations and is the Managing Director for all FreightWatch companies within the region.

Before joining FreightWatch in March 2004, Mr. Robinson worked at Wackenhut Corporation, one of America's largest private security organizations. During the five years Mr. Robinson worked with Wackenhut, he was assigned Wackenhut's most prestigious and largest high-tech account, managing its security operations including site security assessments, investigations, and security technology. During his tenure at Wackenhut, Mr. Robinson managed a security force of over 500 persons across 5 states.

Mr. Robinson is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), the International Cargo Security Council (ICSC) and is an advanced member of the prestigious John E. Reid Institute of Interviewing and Interrogations.

Bill Games picture

President, Freight Security Net

Bill Games is the President of Freight Security Net. He has responsibility for launching FreightWatch's new cargo tracking service and integrating information technology into FreightWatch operations.

Mr. Games has over 20 years of high-tech entrepreneurial and executive management experience. Previous to joining FreightWatch in 2005, he was the Founder and CEO of Joule Software, a telecom OSS software development company. In 1992, Mr. Games founded Signet Partners, one of the first regional Internet service providers in the USA. In 1998, Signet Partners merged with Verio (now NTT America) where he became a Vice President and Director of IT Web Development. Mr. Games holds a degree in mathematics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a masters degree in Education from the University of the Pacific.

David Broe

Group Director of Finance and Corporate Development

David Broe is the Director of Finance and Corporate Development of FreightWatch Group. Mr. Broe has responsibility for strategic and financial planning across the Group. Prior to this role, Mr. Broe served in Corporate Finance for the Bank of Scotland in Dublin, Ireland. His experience also includes positions with ICC Bank and Ascon in Ireland.

Mr. Broe graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1995 with a joint honors degree in Economics and Business Studies. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Management from University College, Dublin.
